Overheard in the Teachers' Room

You think she's pregnant?

I don't know... she looks like she might be.

Oh, I would be so, so thrilled for her. She's waited so long.

Yeah, but it's partly her fault. I mean, she could really lose some weight. I heard it's much more difficult to have kids if you're overweight.

You shouldn't be so judgemental. Maybe it's genetic.

Nah, she eats to much for it to be genetic.

(and by the way, my loyal readers, I am not pregnant, as far as I know)

Why, oh why are people so pathetic??? (And by the way, I have a friend whose doctors MAKE her gain weight before she gets pregnant! So there!)

I hope they weren't talking loud enough for the subject of the conversation to hear - they weren't talking about you, were they?

AAAAhhhhh, sometimes I just wanna SCREAM!!

Anonymous #1, due to the sensitive and personal nature of this blog, I'd rather not give contact information right now.

If you have something to say to me, the comments section allow you to say whatever you'd like under the cloak of anonymity.

These people are pathetic. That was so awful of them to say. And they dont even have the decency to gossip in a private setting. I'm sorry this is taking meddling in other people's business to an all time low.

SC-I have two suggestions for you if you want to give your readers a way to contact you without posting a comment on this blog that everyone will see. They will be able to tell you things and then you can choose if you want to be in touch with them.

One way is to set up comment moderation on one post and put a link to that post on your sidebar. This way, all comments on that post will be emailed to you but nobody will see what those people wrote. They can comment with an email address with a way to contact them and then you can decide on your own if you want to email them or they can write things they would want to tell you but wouldn't want all the readers to see.

The other way is to set up an email form on Bravenet which I used on my own blog to give readers a way to submit their question anonymously. You can customize your own form so that people can give feedback to you anonymously while at the same time keeping their privacy by not having any other readers seeing what they wrote.
